Ring Stack — read before ordering
Hastings rings are specified by their groove widths in millimeters, in the order top compression / second compression / oil control:
- Top compression: 1.5 mm (reduced thickness — performance pistons only)
- Second compression: 2 mm
- Oil control: 4 mm
- Material: Cast iron compression rings
Confirm the ring groove widths cut into your pistons match this stack before ordering. A 1.5 mm top ring will NOT work in a 2 mm groove and vice versa.
