Important
Lash caps (P/N 00-4006-0) are required for all stainless steel valve applications — sold separately. 12mm long-reach spark plugs (e.g. NGK D8EA) must be used in place of stock Bosch plugs.
Fitment
CONFIRMED: VW Type 1 dual-port engines running 85.5mm or 87mm pistons — Beetle (1971-1979), Bus (1971+), Karmann Ghia (1971-1974), Type 3, Thing. NOT CONFIRMED: big-bore 90.5/92/94mm builds (use the matching-bore GTV-2 head), single-port engines, Type 4 engines.
