This large Afghan Jade hand-carved Cat 100*50*130mm weighs 845g.  It was skillfully created by Lawrence Handicrafts for us from the colourful Afghan Jade found locally in Pakistan. The Afghan Jade found there is translucent to opaque and has a wide colour range including white, light to dark green, yellow, black and pink.

Cats are beloved companion animals. Cats carry an air of mystery. They are admired for their piercing eyes and graceful movements. They convey an uncanny awareness and intuition. Across cultures, Cats are seen as protectors, guides, and symbols of the divine. They may appear as harbingers or spiritual messengers, offering insights and energy.

Afghan Jade is a form of Serpentine (Bowenite) named after the neighbouring country where it is also found. Serpentine is the name given to a group of magnesium-based asbestos and silicate minerals found in the larger Serpentinite family of minerals. It is formed through plate tectonics and is found on every continent. This stone is all about Kundalini awakening. Serpentine means ‘stone snake’. Serpentine provides powerful healing energy and is linked to our Kundalini energy. When dormant, Kundalini energy lies coiled at the base of the spine. Its release is transformative. These are such nice cups, and I can confirm they fit the cup holders of my vehicles from my 22 RAV4 to my 05 Corolla. This is a definite buy and I really hope my husband gets me one since my dupe doesn’t fit in my cup holders. As for the 24oz of this cup, it fits. The colors are fun. It’s unique, and extremely functional.
