Since the early days of Phish, Trey Anastasio's guitar tone and magical sustain have left its mark on many a guitar nerd's mind and ear. Inspired by our love of great guitar tone/gear we have created Trey Bien. This hand-pulled silkscreen print is a play on the french words - trés bien; meaning very good or very well.

Our Trey Bien design is printed on a soft American Apparel Black/white ringer Fine Jersey Shirt. If you or someone you know loves Trey's guitar tone - this is a perfect fit.  

Trey's signature sound starts with a beautifully crafted true hollow body Paul Languedoc guitar. After that, all roads lead to his 1st stream of pedals. 1st in line is a wawa pedal, then (the key element of his sound) two Ibanez/Maxon TS-9 Tube Screamers, followed by a vintage Ross Compressor.  He can use the Tube Screamers separately or together- one is dialed in to what Trey has called “full scream” and the other is a more lightly distorted boost.

The product feels great on the skin and moisturizes well. Although, don't be fooled by the smokey coffee detail. I'm an avid expresso bean grinder and drinker, this is no coffee. Smells like strong chain smokers favorite corner of the house on a stressful day. Imagine ash trays and Jojoba blended. Now that that's explained, it genuinely feels great on the skin/beard/scalp. Unfortunately, I am unsure how long my wife will tolerate this as a nighttime routine.

So far nothing amazing

So I’ve been using for a couple of weeks now and I haven’t noticed any difference. I am going to continue on. I don’t know if it takes time for it to actually show some results. I will say two things about it. It comes solid for 12 my jar cracked and broken And it’s non-returnable so I just have to deal with it so that’s unfortunate after paying $20 second of all it is a solid mass so you have to put it in your hands and kind of warm it up for it to become any sort of an oil and I wouldn’t even consider it an oil at that it’s more of like a cream once you warm it up in your hands, but it doesn’t make your hair greasy. I use a small amount I would think that the jar would last a long time given that you don’t need a lot to get through to your scalp unfortunately, with my jar being cracked, I don’t know how that’s gonna affect the longevity of the product And it does have a smell think of burnt coffee beans that will dissipate after about an hour to an hour and a half after putting it on, but if you’re not putting it on, I’m just going to bed. It might be become an issue. I’m gonna wait it out. I hope I do see results from doing this but again so far nothing.
