Voor gaskabels van 1976 tot heden bestaan slechts 4 modeljaren voor Big Twin en XL modellen. Hoewel de fabriek zeer kleine wijzigingen heeft aangebracht tussen de binnen- en buitenkabellengtes, zijn de carburateur/het gasklephuis en de gashandgrepen identiek gebleven. 

Customhoj heeft voor elk modeljaar een 'standaard' aangepaste lengte geselecteerd en aan deze standaardlengtes over- en ondermaten toegevoegd. Dit maakt het eenvoudig om een overmaatse lengte te selecteren voor elke 76-heden toepassing met een standaard carburateur / gasklephuis en gashandgrepen die met een conventionele kabel worden bediend.

Sinds 1948 produceert Barnett koppelingen en bedieningskabels met direct-fit/upgrade toepassingen voor zowat alles op twee wielen. Barnett is de marktleider in op maat gemaakte kabels. Barnett is nog steeds in familiebezit en wordt nog steeds gerund, en is toegewijd om motorfietsonderdelen van topkwaliteit te blijven produceren met het best mogelijke product.
