De volwassen hoogte van deze wintergroene heester is ca. 5 meter, maar is goed op hoogte te snoeien. Deze winterharde Buxus sempervirens 'bol' verdraagt een temperatuur tot -25 graden Celsius. Aanplanten Buxus in de tuin

Doordat de Buxus sempervirens 'Bol' zich makkelijk laat snoeien heeft deze grote heester een decoratieve, en grote sierwaarde in uw tuin. Deze plant staat graag in een matig voedselrijke, droge tot vochthoudende, zandige bodem. Heeft een voorkeur voor neutrale tot basische grond (ph = 7 - 9). Deze soort verlangt een plekje in de zon of halfschaduw. Deze Buxusplant is in haar jonge jaren eenvoudig met allerlei vaste planten te combineren. Later alleen nog maar met 'bosrand' en 'bosplanten'. Zorg voor een zeer voedingsrijke bodem met organische meststof of compost. Lees hieronder onze tips voor snoeien en bemesten van de Buxus.

Bijzonderheden

De buxus wordt momenteel vaak aangetast door de zogenaamde Buxusmot die de buxus opeet. Yarinde adviseert biologische bestrijdingsmiddelen om deze tegen te gaan. Laat dit niet weerhouden om een Buxus aan te schaffen. Een aantal keer per jaar bestrijden is dan voldoende.

Combineren

Een mooie combinatie is de combinatie met de Laurierkers en de Taxus. Zo heeft u een unieke en groenblijvende haag. Door de variatie een leuk effect in uw tuin! Ook goed te combineren met onze borderpakketten voor zon en halfschaduw borders zoals Fenne en Milou.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
