Deze vloer werd onder druk geïmpregneerd voor een langere levensduur.Impregneren is het verduurzamen van onbehandeld hout met een impregneermiddel. Dit gebeurt in een installatie die eerst vacuüm getrokken wordt en nadien gevuld wordt met impregneermiddel. Tot slot wordt deze vloeistof onder hoge druk in het hout geperst. Tijdens het impregneren wordt het hout bestand gemaakt tegen rotten, schimmels en insecten. Hierdoor gaat het hout beduidend langer mee dan onbehandeld hout. Na het drukimpregneren krijgt het hout een goud-groene tint. Gardenas werkt met een wax-impregnatie waardoor je reeds een eerste bescherming heeft tegen vocht. Je dient dus niet onmiddellijk maar binnen een redelijke termijn de vloer nog te behandelen met een vochtwerend middel.

Small typos

It's a pretty good book, however I am finding quite a lot of typos, and editing errors, one in particular was on page 101
The review questions don't match the review answers, had to edit a lot of it by hand.
