Levensbloem: Vanuit één eenvoudige cirkel ontstaan door het trekken van meerdere cirkels, telkens vanuit een punt op de vorige, een prachtig geometrisch patroon. Dit vormt de levensbloem, ook wel “flower of life” genoemd.

De levensbloem is een oeroud symbool uit de heilige geometrie, bekend in veel oude culturen over de hele wereld. Ze staat voor de verbondenheid van alle leven in het universum. Traditioneel wordt dit symbool vaak gebruikt om voeding te vitaliseren en te stabiliseren.

Het maken van gehamerde klankschalen is een ambachtelijk proces waarbij elke schaal met zorg en aandacht met de hand wordt gevormd. Eerst worden verschillende metalen gesmolten in de oven, afhankelijk van het type schaal dat wordt gemaakt. Voor bronzen klankschalen bestaat dit vooral uit koper en tin. Voor zeven metalen schalen worden kleine hoeveelheden van koper, tin, ijzer, lood, goud en zilver gebruikt.

Het vloeibare metaal wordt in mallen gegoten, waarna er schijven van verschillende diktes en diameters worden gesneden. Deze schijven worden vervolgens stap voor stap, met veel precisie, roodgloeiend verhit en met de hand gehamerd tot de juiste vorm en grootte. Door het herhaaldelijk verwarmen en hameren krijgt elke schaal zijn eigen unieke klank en karakter.

Omdat het metaal alleen roodgloeiend flexibel genoeg is om te vormen, is het een kwetsbaar proces. Koelt het metaal teveel af, dan kan het breken en wordt de schaal onbruikbaar. Na de grove vormgeving volgt het fijnere werk: het zorgvuldig schuren, polijsten en eventueel detailleren van de schaal zorgt voor de uiteindelijke afwerking.

Let op: doordat deze klankschaal met de hand wordt gehamerd en gevormd, kan de diameter enigszins variëren. De opgegeven maat is daarom een indicatie.

Great Looking Suit with Lightweight Material

I got this for a beach wedding and it worked out really well. It looked nice without feeling too formal, which was perfect for the setting. Very nice linen suit for boys. Well worth the piece

This JPF Double Breasted Linen Suit for Boys is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I got itt for my 8 year old and he loves it! He tried it on at soon as we received it and wore it all evening. Lol. He looks so grown up! He's about 4'3", about 75lbs. I ordered a size 12 and it fits him the way I'd expect it to. A bit big but he has room to grow into it. It is a 2 piece suit, with pants and blazer only. It's a summer suit, it's meant to have a more laid back, casual style. It is so nice! The style and color are identical to the photo. I got the beige color, that's the color my kid picked. I do worry a bit about staining, considering an 8 year old boy will be wearing it, but hopefully any stains will be easy to remove. The quality is excellent and the price isn't bad either. I highly recommend this suit

Nice suit for the price!

This really is a very nice boys suit, especially for the price they are asking. My kids don't wear suits too often, maybe once or twice a year for special occasions so I don't need really expensive suits for them. The material is actually really nice on this. The color looks great and the pieces are sewn nicely. The adjustable waist band is really nice on the pants because my kids are on the slimmer side and this helps with fitting. You can also wear a belt with these if needed. I washed on delicate cycle and dried on delicate cycle a little, then finished by air drying. They washed and dried very nicely with minimal wrinkling. The front pockets are real and useable on these, which isn't always the case with boys suits. Overall would 100% recommend

Nice looking suit that runs big

This is a beautiful light, gray linen suit size 6. It looks high end and it is a baggy fit, not slim. This suit is double breasted with a satin lining inside. There are two pockets in the jacket and one small smaller pocket for a handkerchief on the jacket. I did order a size 6 but this fits way too big for a size 6 I’m thinking it was more like a seven or an eight. The pants have a zipper, which moves very easily and 2 pockets. The Pants have belt loops. Both the the pants and jacket are longer than normal. My son is tall, so I was really surprised that these are so baggy and so long. I would definitely double check the size. there’s no size chart online so maybe I would go one size down. It does look like a quality made suit. The sizing is just off.
