De Mourvèdre-druif komt van oorsprong uit Catalonië (Spanje) en is goed bestand tegen de warmte. De druif onderscheidt zich door de dikke schil en goede tannines, die de wijn een lange levensduur geeft. De Mourvèdre wijngaard van Noble Hill is kleiner dan 1 hectare en het aantal flessen is dan ook beperkt.
