HELP(2) is een gloednieuw samenwerkingsalbum, geïnspireerd door de baanbrekende release HELP uit 1995, dat muziekliefhebbers samenbrengt ter ondersteuning van het belangrijke werk van War Child: het bieden van directe noodhulp, onderwijs, gespecialiseerde mentale ondersteuning en bescherming aan kinderen die wereldwijd door conflicten worden getroffen. Net als het origineel benadrukt het nieuwe album de urgentie van de situatie voor de 1 op de 5 kinderen die vandaag de dag in oorlog leven.

Het oorspronkelijke HELP-album werd in één dag opgenomen, bracht meer dan £1,2 miljoen op en stelde de organisatie in staat om duizenden kinderen in het Bosnische conflict te helpen. Critici prezen het als “het beste liefdadigheidsalbum dat ooit is gemaakt”.

HELP(2) zet de geest van het originele album voort en kwam tot stand in nauwe samenwerking met Abbey Road Studios, waar het grotendeels werd opgenomen tijdens één uitzonderlijke week in november 2025. Onder leiding van de gerenommeerde producer James Ford als uitvoerend producent bevat HELP(2) een indrukwekkende lijst van artiesten, waaronder:

Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg en Young Fathers… naast vele andere muzikanten, technici, mixers en producers.

Daarnaast nam de beroemde filmmaker Jonathan Glazer met zijn team van Academy Films de creatieve leiding op zich, waarbij zij zowel de filmische als de artistieke richting van het project verzorgden.

Alle opbrengsten van dit album gaan naar War Child UK, om kinderen die opgroeien in conflictgebieden te beschermen, onderwijs te bieden en op te komen voor hun rechten. HELP(2) staat symbool voor hoop voor kinderen wier levens door oorlog zijn verwoest. Het is een eerbetoon aan de vrijgevigheid van artiesten en de muziekindustrie, die samen bijdragen aan een veiligere, betere toekomst voor deze kinderen.

Want geen enkel kind zou ooit deel mogen uitmaken van oorlog.

Random parts of it have fallen off, which is fine because it was still functional. But now the most frustrating part is that the wheels continue to pop off, and while the first attempts to pop them back on worked, they will not stay on now. This is obviously greatly impacting the stability, and I will need to purchase a replacement soon. For this price and lack of long-term durability, I would not buy again.

I wanted something small with arms that moved out of the way when I wanted to slide my chair all the way into my desk for more space. This fit the bill. I loved the color blue and I had that in my cart for a bit. One day Alexa mentioned that an item that was in my cart was on sale. It was the chair. I let it be ordered. When it came it didn't exactly look blue to me. But I kept putting it together thinking maybe it was the lighting in the room I was assembling it in. I brought it to my craft room and lo and behold it is light purple. I looked at my order and sure enough it said light purple. Boo! I looked in my saved cart and the chair was gone. So I accepted it for an error. The next day I checked to see if I could return it. Thought I could, till I read that I would have to pay to return it. So I wrote the seller to tell them to ignore the return. And that was that. Till a couple days later I get an email from the seller asking if I would like a full refund or a replacement at no cost. I was like heck yeah send me the blue one. I was thrilled and I wanted to thank the seller for doing this without the return of the other chair. But I could not find a place to do that now. So here is where I will thank you. Thank you so much for doing this for me. You guys are AWESOME!. I love the chair and I love the blue color. I find it very comfortable, lite, easy to adjust, the size works great for me, and for the price the quality fits my needs. I do hope it lasts me for quite some time. Thanks again!

I bought this office chair as a sewing tool, you might say. I felt that having an office chair on wheels would get me from the sewing machine to the ironing board and then to the cutting board and back to the sewing machine. All and all, my chair is the perfect addition to my sewing area at a very affordable price. I couldn’t be happier!
