Deze hybride turbo maakt gebruik van een CNC-gefreesd billet compressorwiel (7+7 blades, extended tip) dat aanzienlijk meer luchtmassa levert, maar toch een vroege spool behoudt.

Het compressordeksel is aangepast met CNC-bewerkingen om het grotere wiel te huisvesten. Aan de uitlaatkant zorgt de beproefde TTE 9-blads turbine voor minder tegendruk, meer flow en een snellere respons. De turbo is voorzien van een versterkt 360° motorsportlagerpakket, aangepast wastegatehuis met sterkere veer en instelbare klemmen voor optimale afstelling.

Elke TTE490 wordt tot 250.000 RPM dynamisch uitgebalanceerd op een VSR-machine en geleverd met een individueel balanstestrapport voor maximale betrouwbaarheid en duurzaamheid. Met de juiste ondersteunende modificaties is een vermogen van 500+ pk mogelijk.
