De fles is hexagoonvormig en bij de bereiding worden zes unieke Japanse botanische kruiden toegevoegd die de Roku Gin een unieke smaak geven mede doordat de kruiden in hun hoogtijdagen van bloeien geplukt worden. Sakurabloesem en het sakurablad worden in de lente geplukt, in de zomer worden de sencha thee- en gyokuro theebladeren geplukt, de sansho peper wordt in de herfst geplukt en tot slot in de winter wordt de yuzu geplukt waarvan de schil gebruikt wordt. De zes botanische ingrediënten worden apart van elkaar gedistilleerd om de beste smaken te extraheren en de karaktereigenschappen optimaal af te staan aan de gin.
