This is one of those guitars that doesn’t come around twice.

Built in the Vintage ProShop in Leeds, this is a one-off UK-made V6 — and with Vintage now closing their doors, pieces like this aren’t just limited… they’re the last of their kind. No repeats, no reissues, no “another batch later”. What’s out there now is it.

Finished in clean white with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, it’s got that understated, high-end look — but the real story is in how it feels and sounds.

The roasted neck is a big step up from standard spec. It’s smoother, more stable, more responsive… and straight away you notice how alive it feels in the hands. There’s a snap and immediacy to it that you just don’t get on entry-level Strats. Comfortable soft C profile, fast without feeling thin — it just works.

Then you plug in — and this is where it separates itself.

Loaded with a full set of Lace Sensor Hot Gold pickups, this is not your typical Strat voice. These deliver a fat, full bottom end, a singing midrange, and all the high-end sparkle and class you’d expect — but with far more depth and authority. Everything is there, but elevated.

Three notes in and you get it.

There’s a clarity and balance that feels refined, almost hi-fi compared to standard single coils, but without losing that unmistakable Strat character. Clean tones are rich and detailed, pushed tones stay smooth and controlled without ever getting harsh.

Under the hood, Lace are doing things differently — hotter Barium Ferrite magnets and their patented Micro Matrix design — which is where that consistency and tonal range comes from. You get vintage-style tone, but with more control, more output when you need it, and none of the usual noise.

It’s the kind of setup that genuinely pushes this into USA Strat territory and beyond in terms of usable tone.

Hardware-wise, it’s all dialled in. The Wilkinson WVC vibrato feels solid and returns to pitch exactly as it should, paired with E-Z-Lok tuners for added stability. Everything works together properly — no fighting it, no compromises.

And as you’d expect from a ProShop build, it’s had the full setup treatment — fret level, crown and polish, fingerboard dress, nut work, action, intonation — all done so it plays exactly how it should straight out the case.

This isn’t just another Strat-style guitar. It’s a hand-finished, UK-built, one-off instrument from a workshop that’s now gone.
