The end of each trunnion is home to a reservoir for the grease. You’ll notice the trunnion is larger in circumference and therefor considerably stronger than to conventional u-joints. This is because the Super Joint design eliminates the needle bearings. The trade-off is these joints require frequent maintenance as sealed needle bearings contain their grease for a lifetime and Super Joints require regreasing, so we do not recommend installing them in daily driven vehicles.Installation Instructions

My 83 year old mom loves her pair!

Bought these for my 83 year old mom, who has dementia . She. Loves. Them. Easy on and off for her. The fit was perfect. Normally a size 2 at the store is too big, these fit perfectly. When she is wearing them she makes sure to ask you if you like them. I believe the color of them makes it easier for her to find her shoes.
