Here is a hand forged mailbox with a post decoratively done in the technique of the artistic forging with a goldfinch, three roses, house number and a bird. There is no lock in it. It has a house number of its door.

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom orders are welcome (different house number, colour, size, content (by adding additional elements (flowers, birds, other insects ....), lock, latch). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal). Custom orders are welcome.

It will be done "to order", please allow about 3 weeks for its making.
