These earrings that I have created are symbolic of the our ability to overcome darkness through Jesus Christ. They are symbolic of purification; of the refiner’s fire.

There is always LIGHT in the darkness. There is always light amidst pain, sin, hopelessness. He is the Light! When we cry out to Him with everything we have, and surrender our will to the Lord, we are putting our hearts and souls upon the altar of sacrifice. He rescues us from bondage. He heals and purifies our hearts and minds.

I am grateful for a God who overcame the world, so that I can too overcome all things through Him and be made pure.

The white flowers represent Christ's Light that always overpowers darkness. The white Mother of Pearl represents purity; being cleansed and made spotless through the Atoning blood of Jesus Christ. The Gold wire reflects the imagery in Job 23:8-10, "When He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold". What beautiful symbolism! I love and cherish any special reminder of my Savior.
