Along with convenient power control settings, the Katana 50 MKII comes preloaded with an extensive collection of official BOSS effects, including boosts, modulations, delays, and reverbs, among many others. Extended features of the Katana 50 MKII include a USB output to program and customize onboard effects using the BOSS Tone Studio app accessible via a personal computer. Along with an effect loop function and two connections for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal, the customization abilities of the Katana 50 MKII are extensive, ready for recording or performance.
