We have passion for all things handmade, and first on that list is handcrafted Cement. Our Clay 8x8 square Cement color Cement is matte, silky, and imperfectly perfect. As part of our 8x8 Cement color collection, each tile has subtle tonal variation. Clay Cements are perfect for bathrooms, showers, and flooring applications. They are also especially popular for use in kitchen backsplashes, kitchen floors, powder rooms and outdoor patios. They are timeless, durable, and endlessly variable. Find over a hundred unique designs including our Claycement tile at ziatile.com
Where our Cement comes from
The French and Catalans were the first to use the technique in the 1850's both in France and in Barcelona. The complex patterns used in the tiles are due to an interest in ancient cultures, most notably early Arab and Moorish art. As a result, the tiles spread throughout Europe as a high quality flooring material and then onto former European colonies in Latin America, North Africa, and Vietnam.
How Zia Tile manufactures our tile
We make 8x8 Cement color Cements like our Clay earth toned color-way by hand, one at a time, using mineral pigments, cement, a mold, and a hydraulic press. Each of our Clay8x8 square tiles are unique and one of a kind, as tonal variation makes every tile subtly different from the next. The individual patterns are made by applying separate pigments, one by one, in a handmade brass mold. The process is incredibly delicate, requiring skilled artisans with years of experience.
Why we love our 8x8 Cement
Our Clay 8x8 Cements are not fired in a kiln because there is no glaze layer on the surface of the tile. Instead, each tile has a pigment layer that is 2-3 millimeters thick, resulting in a tile that is incredibly durable, lasting well over a century. Our tiles come in an endless array of patterns with 64 custom colors to choose from, from bold jewel tones, to monochromatic black and white.

Not worth it
Size: Mini
The orange clasp that locks it in place is super faulty on the one I received. It folds at any point when trying to throw the ball. Not sure if I just got a defective one but I wasn’t a fan. Would rather get one at a pet store just to play it safe

Not as sturdy as a regular one
Size: Mini
I was holding off writing a review about this because I wasn’t sure that it was going to hold up as well as a regular non bendable Chuck It wand. I have found I like the way it folds up and fits into my backpack nicely and also fits into my big purse when I’m out and about with my dog. You have to make sure the orange sleeve is over the screw part in the middle of the wand before you can throw the ball otherwise it’s not going to throw. It’s going to collapse. I’m not sure how long the durability is going to last that’s my only question about this product and I don’t know how long the screws on the elbow of it are gonna hold up but for now it’s been working great and we play with it every day and I’ve not had a problem with it. It’s just not as sturdy as a full size wand

Love this version of Chuck It beyond all before
Size: Mini
I had the longer bendable Chuck It before, well several, which broke down. They finally wouldn’t’ release the ball.
Not disparaging Chuck It.
They have been my furry puppy's favorite thing ever. I am grateful.
But what I like and think is intuitive about this smaller design is 2 things:
1. I can do a more dynamic throw.
2. There are circle holes in the Chuck It Ball that come with it that I think allow for easier release and the ball can go father.
Just my two cents.

Still Good to Use in a Pinch
Size: Mini
Love the Chuck it brand. This collapsible one is not my favorite. Everytime I chuck it, the orange lock does not stay in place. Plus, in my opinion, it doesn't have the oomph for the distance like the other medium ones. Still good though

Best thing ever!
Size: Mini
I had no idea how my dog would react to this. She would play fetch but she seemed to get bored. This Chuck It is probably my dog's favorite toy. I love it because I can actually get the ball a lot further to get her running more. And I love how easy it makes picking up the ball. All in all, this is so worth the little bit of money it is. My dog gets so excited when I ask her if she wants to play with her Chuck It. I'd buy this again and again. This thing saves my arm and back, and my dog gets some serious exercise. Winner winner. I also love how this one folds. I can fit it anywhere to take it along. Really I simply can't say enough good things about this little ball flinger. It's also my favorite thing to play with my pup.
