Aroma

Complex and beautifully layered on the nose — sweet green apples, spiced honey and a hint of cider open with freshness and warmth. There’s a Speyside-style delicacy and refinement here that speaks to distiller David Baker’s vision of over 20 years: a Victorian single malt with notes of spiced apple, nutmeg and honey that would sit comfortably alongside the great Speyside malts of Scotland.

Palate

The flavour ramps up beautifully — nutmeg leads, moving through spiced honey to a firm cereal with a malty richness layered on as a finale. Loads of rich malty sweetness carry through with depth and satisfaction, underpinned by the American Oak Ex-Bourbon character of the Jack Daniels barrels.
