Brighten your workspace with the Stockholm Adjustable Desk Lamp in Shiny Brass Finish, a statement of refined utility at Orsina. The Stockholm Adjustable Desk Lamp in Shiny Brass Finish pairs a gleaming head with natural wood details for a warm, modern contrast.

Brighter Work, Better Focus

The brass shade provides a concentrated pool of light, perfect for reading, sketching, and late-night emails. An adjustable arm helps you aim the beam precisely, reducing eye strain and keeping your desk free from harsh glare.

Rubberwood accents anchor the design in warmth, while the compact base maximises room for notebooks and keyboards on smaller surfaces.

Style That Moves With You

From home office to bedside, the lamp adapts effortlessly. Turn it toward your task list during the day, then pivot for soft evening light. The shiny finish adds a touch of sophistication that complements marble trays, black frames, and natural wood tops.

Good history of the court despite some bias
Format: Hardcover
This was a very interesting history of the court and a fairly good account of how it had changed as well as in other ways not changed over 2 centuries. In the final part regarding the current court, it is apparent that the author is not even handed regarding his analysis of the current justices and decisions, especially regarding anything involving President Trump. Overall, scholarly and well cited with much good analysis and explanation, at least through 80% or so of the book.

Even handed approach and approachable
Format: Kindle
The accolades provided by the book reviewers are accurate. This is accessible, non-partisan and shows a keen understanding of how our legal system has developed over the history of the US. As a practicing attorney, I found myself exclaiming over and again "wow, I didn't realize that!" throughout the read. I studied many of the cases he discusses in law school. I've read other books about the Supreme Court included Wm. Rhenquist's History of the Supreme Court and The Bretheren. Even though I was a serious student, I was enlightened by the author's telling of the story. Like a good history book, this is well-researched.

A must read at a good cost
Format: Hardcover
A recent release and should be read by everyone in order to understand the history on why we have a Supreme Court, why it is the most powerful in the world, its origins, why our founding fathers believed it was necessary and how it addressed significant events in our country's history; paperbound is the best and a good price for an depth analysis or such an important institution

You don't have to be a lawyer to read this
Format: Hardcover
I typically read my non-fiction books from cover to cover, but not this one. I'm using it as mainly a reference book. I thought the author might exhibit some 'left coast bias' but I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
