This limited release Honeyburst 214ce sets out with a Grand Auditorium body coming together with solid Sitka spruce and layered Indian rosewood. The brand's iconic Grand Auditorium body shape gets the limelight with these two tonewoods – and one of Taylor's favorite tonal tricks up its sleeve. This guitar's solid Sitka spruce features a process known as torrefaction, where a tonewood is heat-treated to bake out imperfections, darken its color, and impart some well-deserved, lived-in sonic age usually reserved for much older guitars. This lived-in quality gives some complexity to the wood while its voice is bolstered by Taylor's C-Class bracing pattern.

At this point, Taylor welcomes a mahogany neck paired with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Italian acrylic inlays appear across the ebony for a sweet visual element. These comfortable, playable woods match with a few features for aesthetics including white body binding, a three-ring white rosette, and a matte body finish. These good-lookin' specs look even better on the stage with onboard Taylor Expression System 2 electronics. Moves between stages are made seamless with an included Taylor structured tan gig bag.
