The 29 Pedals FLWR is an overdrive effect pedal with a unique set of controls that allow it to span a wide range of drive tones adaptable for both stage and studio alike. At its core, FLWR was created to hold a space in your rig that’s uniquely and dynamically responsive to your instrument, your technique, and the other components in your signal chain. It does this with an interesting set of knobs and switches that allow the player to find their prefect “break-up” spot and then to have the space to dial that back or push it to the floor.

The GAIN control is the first knob on the left, but it actually is a control for the second gain stage. Increasing this knob will also add a warmth to the output as well as increasing gain. The LEVEL control is for overall output and can produce up to 45 dB of gain, which is plenty to push into fuzz territory. SHAPE is controlled by 2x 2-position selector switches. The first 3 position selector (1,2,3) effects the first gain stage with position 3 being the most total gain. Position 1 and 2 are the same amount of gain but position 1 has a low-pass filter in it. Selector 2 switches from shaped high-gain output (A), to flat low-gain (B), and bright medium gain (C). Finally, the third selector, CLIP, controls the clipping diode module. Options are 1st pair (1), no clipping diodes (0), and a 2nd pair (2).

Sticking with the traditional 29 Pedals form factor, FLWR combines open ended knob control with repeatable selector control for infinite possibilities and easy, return-to-setting options.

This copy is an excellent modernization of Malory's text with helpful footnotes and endnotes
Format: Paperback
I got this book for class, so I've only read large segements of it. This copy is an excellent modernization of Malory's text with helpful footnotes and endnotes. The footnotes were always available to explain unfamiliar words without interrupting the flow of the story.

Delightful text, but the omissions are frustrating
Format: Paperback
The modern spellings of the original Middle English text make this book quite easy and fun to read. However if you're trying to follow the actual complete storyline or compare it side-by-side with one of the original full text versions the frequent omissions quickly become quite evident and frustrating as you realize just how abridged this version actually is. That being said, the foot-of-page glossary and explanatory notes are quite helpful and informative. If only they wouldn't have left so much of the text out this would be a five-star review.

Simple and easy to read
Format: Paperback
If you are looking to just understand Le Morte, this is a good book. It's written in modern English, due to the fact the author decided he wanted it to mirror the Winchester manuscript as closely as possible, that is, he wanted it to be written in the most easily accessible language of the time. Therefore, the Oxford edition of Le Morte is less bogged down in old spellings and archaic language as other versions of the text.
