House of Glass is a book that critically examines the legendary Milanese manufacturer of glass furnishings through the production periods lead by its four great artistic directors: Gio Ponti (1932-1933, with continuous involvement thereafter), Pietro Chiesa (1933-1948), Max Ingrand (1954-1967), and Gae Aulenti (1979-1996). From Ponti's founding of the company in 1932 until Aulenti's departure in 1996, the present catalogue - published on the occasion of the major exhibition in Venice - traces FontanaArte's historical stylistic arc through twentieth-century design, from the rational logic of modernism to the playful wit of post-modernism. Throughout, the company set the standards for Italian design: the seamless continuity between the classical ancient past and the technological present; the perfect marriage of art with industry; the superior quality of materials and hand craftsmanship; and the elevation of the everyday object into a luxurious art of living.
Edited by Christian Larsen, the book follows a course divided in chapters focusing on deepening our understanding of each individual designer (Gio Ponti e Pietro Chiesa; Max Ingrand; Gae Aulenti), and the section "House of Glass" meant to evoke a domestic space furnished only with objects by FontanaArte.

Great for college!

I am not one to decorate my room, but this really helps put vibes in it. Unfortunately, you cannot put a lot on this, but it is still good to put your everyday jewelry on. I find that I can only put two necklaces on the antlers because anymore it would get tangled. Earrings can be a little tricky to put in depending on what type of backing it has rings and bracelets. I usually put at the bottom of the tray and I don’t have problems with that.

Simple and Effective Remote Organization

The Pros:
Spacious Design: With five deep pockets, there is plenty of room to store everything from TV and soundbar remotes to reading glasses.
Functional and Steady: It sits perfectly on a side table without tipping over. It does exactly what I hoped it would do by keeping all our remotes in one spot.
Great Portability: It is lightweight enough to move around easily, which is helpful for keeping things organized while we are on the move.
Clean Finish: The material looks professional and blends in well with the furniture without looking like a cheap plastic holder.
The Cons:
Pocket Depth: One thing to keep in mind is that the pockets are fairly deep. If you have very small remotes, they can slide down a bit far, making them slightly trickier to grab quickly.

Absolutely perfect for 5 remotes. The bins are deep and very wide. It's a very reasonable price and it's compact size fits in smaller spaces so it doesn't take up a lot of room. Also, you can't beat the price and genuine leather. Good in any room.

My remote caddy

I have so many gadgets that uses remotes, my end table looked awful with remotes everywhere and when I would move something, a remote would fall off the table. It was aggravating but now I have a nice caddy to sit on my table and it holds all of my remotes. It's beautifully designed and was shipped to me very quickly.
