The first ever solo album from one of the most legendary drummers of our era -The album is an instrumental drum record with other instrumentation, a journey into rhythm and sound - written, recorded and produced by himself -Dave Lombardo, in his 40 year career has been the drummer for Slayer, Testament, The Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross, Fantomas, Suicidal Tendencies and more -He has won two Grammy Awards and been nominated four times -The album will appeal to both Dave's metal fanbase, as well as the instrumental/experimental world where he's worked in the past with John Zorn, DJ Spooky and even recorded a drum-heavy version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. -Dave has also worked on soundtracks and most-recently dove into the singer-songwriter world playing drums on Venamoris (out in Feb 2023) -He's currently active with Dead Cross, Testament and Mr. Bungle, the latter of which he's touring with right when this album comes out in May -He also recently released a pop-driven album with his wife under the name Venamoris, and is launching another new metal project called Empire State Bastard with members of Biffy Clyro -the first single "Journey Of The Host" just got a sync in an upcoming Geoff Rowley skating video release -RIYL: Fantomas, Tito Puente, Slayer, Tyler Bates
