Icaris Lab including Tom's mother Olivia, lab staff and dragon Terrible Terror. Dimensions building: 29 x 30 x 28 cm (LxDxH).
Set 1,300 years after the events of How To Train Your Dragon, dragons are now just a legend to the modern world. When a geological anomaly opens up an immense, miles-deep fissure in the Earth's surface, scientists from all over the world gather at a new research facility to study the mysterious phenomenon. Soon a group of misfit kids, brought to the site by their parents, uncover the truth about dragons and where they've been hiding -- a secret they must keep to themselves to protect what they've discovered. The ICARIS Lab was built to study the Kullersen Fissure, an immense miles-deep fissure in the earth's surface. Scientists from all over the world, among them Dr. Olivia Kullersen, study the extraordinary phenomenon from there.

The Icaris lab can be entered through two swinging doors. The research section houses analytical equipment, computers and a projection table for examining rock samples and evaluating drone images. In the roof area of the station is the drone landing pad. The large drone can be controlled from here. A foot clamp is integrated in the center of the top of the drone so that a figure can fly along standing up. Also includes a working cannon.

Included in the set is Dragons: The Nine Realms character Dr. Olivia Kullersen and another PLAYMOBIL figure, a Terrible Terror, the Icaris research station with analyzer, research table, computer and monitors, a drone with movable rotors and firing function and many other exciting extras. The legs, lower jaw and wings of the Terrible Terror are movable.

Recommended for ages four to ten years. Warning. Choking Hazard. Contains a small ball and small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Great introduction to Linux kernel development
Format: Kindle
This is a great book for those wanting to get into Linux kernel development. It has a good flow to the writing and doesn't try and bury you with too much deep knowledge as a beginner (just enough to give you the basics of the concepts being discussed). if you purchase this book there is a second book with more depth on programming provided free (on the books website github). I enjoyed this book so much I've purchased the second book for my kindle reader to support the author. I've also purchased Kaiwan's book on Linux kernel debugging which is also an excellent read; giving you a good introduction to all the different methods/tools that can be used to help you debug those stubborn issues you'll inevitably encounter working as a kernel developer. I can't wait to read the next edition of this book coming out in January; revised for the 6.x kernel. FYI, I've read this book and worked through all the examples on the latest Linux stable kernel (as of this review 6.4.x/6.5.x-rcX). You won't regret getting this book if you want to start down the path of being a Linux kernel developer! I'd love to see a book from Kaiwan on developing module/drivers using Rust (with it's support now included in Linux kernel since 6.2). :-)
