Historical background:

The T28 super heavy tank (formerly known as T95 artillery carrier) restored by TAKOM 2209 was a "land fortress" developed by the United States at the end of World War II to break through the German Siegfried Line and respond to heavy armored threats.

It is also one of the heaviest armored prototype vehicles in the history of the US military, but was unable to participate in the war after its end, leaving only two prototype vehicles.

The T28/T95 was a bold attempt by the US military to develop ultra heavy assault vehicles.Although it did not engage in actual combat, it provided key technical data for the post-war development of heavy armored vehicles.
