Assembling with a fresh take on standby formulas, the Gretsch Electromatic CVT Double-Cut is a dynamic version of a Gretsch icon. Promoting sound, style, and playability as priorities in equal measures, the Electromatic CVT is a great model for any player to sink their teeth into.

Establishing itself easily with a double-cutaway mahogany body with beveled body contours, this solidbody slips smoothly under the arm and across the body when slung over the shoulder with a strap. Moving from there, a bolt-on mahogany neck connects in the playing hand with a speedy Performance "C" profile neck shape and a bound laurel fingerboard for smooth fretting. The board's Medium Jumbo frets and twelve-inch radius inspire fast playing up and down the fingerboard for dynamic playing at every level. These features for playability are driven by the CVT's sonic engine, two Twin Six humbucking pickups. The two pickups, wired with a treble bleed circuit, play with heat and expression for any type of music. Onboard, a wraparound bridge with adjustable saddles offers easy stringing and a strong transfer of motion from string to body.

Fully, the Electromatic CVT is an exciting and reliable solidbody for writing the next Gretsch chapter.

GREAT READ
Format: Hardcover
I can’t stop thinking about Laws of Love and Logic, a debut novel by Debra Curtis. It’s beautifully written, incredibly heartbreaking, but nevertheless hopeful. It’s definitely not your typical romance novel rather it’s heavily character driven, and thought provoking. The characters feel so real. The way the author writes about the sisters’ relationship will stay with me forever. Also, having grown-up Catholic, I was so inspired to see progressive Catholicism with an emphasis on serving the most vulnerable, as being a foundational part of the sisters’ lives. The story spans decades, opening in the 70s and follows the characters into middle age. If you like books by Elizabeth Strout and Ann Patchett, you’ll love this one.

Highly recommended read!!
Format: Hardcover
My book club read this. It’s a thoughtful and emotional story with believable characters and strong family themes. I especially loved the message of forgiveness, which added real depth to the story. I’m from the area where the book takes place and found the setting and details extremely accurate. I could picture myself in and around it. Loved it and highly recommend. Looking forward to this author’s next book!

A consuming book so enigmatic at times. This book you don’t want to put down for longer than you want to; I was stunned by the brilliant end.
