The new 2020 Elan-Ultra™ Close-Contact Hunt Saddle that is built to the same specifications as that of the Elan™ saddle, one of the most popular models for over 25 years; due to its versatility and elegant but functional design. It is a superb hunt seat saddle at home in the show ring and yet is perfect for jumping medium size fences. It is created with a double skinned saddle using Ultra-Tack™ English Calf skin for a luxurious feel and security, with the latest version having a super soft padded skirt for security and comfort.

Built on a European styled medium deep close-contact spring saddle tree, but with a more open pommel to enable freedom of the shoulder; thus enabling the horse to move with more alacrity. Close-contact wool flocked panels make for superb comfort for your horses back, adjustable Velcro® knee & Thigh blocks that can be placed in the ideal position will help the rider obtain their optimum seat. It is recommended to use Calf Skin leathers with this model as conventional leathers can result in premature wear.

Lovatt & Ricketts® Saddle Trees
The Elan Ultra's trees are manufactured in L&R's own saddle tree department using the finest laminated birch wood and reinforced with steel for strength. Each tree is specifically made for each model, designed and produced by their own Master saddle tree makers. All their trees conform to British Standards Institution 6635 so you can be assured of quality strength and reliability.
