Key Features

  • Vacuum Pulse Operation: Utilizes engine crankcase pressure pulses to reliably draw fuel from the tank to the carburetor, ensuring a consistent flow even under high-load conditions.
  • High-Flow Internal Diaphragm: Features a premium chemical-resistant diaphragm designed to withstand the corrosive effects of ethanol-blended fuels and provide a long service life.
  • All-In-One Maintenance Kit: Includes a high-micron fuel filter and heavy-duty spring clamps to ensure a leak-free installation and a clean fuel supply.
  • Universal Triple-Port Design: Equipped with clearly marked ports for the fuel inlet, fuel outlet, and pulse line, making installation straightforward for both professional mechanics and DIYers.
  • Heat-Stabilized Housing: Manufactured from reinforced automotive-grade polymer to resist cracking and warping caused by the high operating temperatures of air-cooled engines.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Kawasaki: 49040-7008, 49040-0770, 49040-0005, 49040-7001.
  • John Deere: MIU12470, AM133627.
  • Kohler: 24 393 04-S, 24 393 16-S (Cross-compatible pulse style).
  • Briggs & Stratton: 808492, 808656.

Compatibility & Fitment

This fuel pump is a standard replacement for Kawasaki V-Twin engines used in Zero-Turn mowers and tractors. Key compatible series include:

  • Kawasaki FR Series: FR541V, FR600V, FR651V, FR691V, FR730V.
  • Kawasaki FS Series: FS481V, FS541V, FS600V, FS651V, FS691V, FS730V.
  • Kawasaki FX Series: FX481V, FX541V, FX600V, FX651V, FX691V, FX730V.
  • Common Equipment: Fits many mowers from John Deere, Gravely, Ariens, Hustler, Toro, and Exmark utilizing these Kawasaki engines.

When to Replace

  • Engine Won't Start: The engine turns over but fails to fire, and the fuel filter appears empty despite having gas in the tank.
  • Sputtering Under Load: The engine runs fine at idle but "starves" for fuel, coughs, or dies when the mower blades are engaged or when going uphill.
  • Fuel in the Pulse Line: If you remove the vacuum/pulse line and find liquid gasoline inside, the internal diaphragm has ruptured and is leaking fuel into the crankcase.
  • Visible Fuel Leaks: Gasoline is weeping from the seams of the plastic pump body or the hose barbs.
  • Surging: The engine RPM fluctuates at full throttle because the pump cannot maintain a steady pressure to the carburetor float bowl.

Installation Tips

  • Check the Pulse Line: Before installing the new pump, inspect the vacuum hose connecting the pump to the engine block. If it is cracked or soft, the pump will not have enough "pulse" to move fuel.
  • Port Orientation: Note the location of the arrows on the pump body. The "In" port comes from the tank; the "Out" port goes to the carburetor; the "P" or unmarked third port goes to the engine crankcase.
  • Filter Placement: Always install the new fuel filter before the pump (between the tank and the pump inlet) to protect the internal pump valves from debris.
  • Clamp Security: Use the included clamps on all three ports. A small air leak on the intake side will prevent the pump from priming, and a leak on the pulse side will reduce pumping power.
  • Initial Priming: If the engine doesn't start immediately, you may need to briefly use a small amount of starting fluid or manually prime the line to help the pump begin drawing fuel from a dry tank.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
