Wind Song was inspired by the peacocks that majestically parade around Winter Park, Florida. After being commissioned to create a realistic peacock for a Winter Park family, I wanted to explore this beautiful bird impressionistically.

The first peacocks were brought to Winter Park in 1950 by Hugh McKean, a former president of Rollins College, and Jeanette McKean, granddaughter of Charles Morse and founder of the Morse Museum, and it has graced Winter Park's seal since 2004.

What makes this special?

I use professional grade acrylics which boast quality pigment saturated paints with optimal strength and coverage. For the utmost durability and longevity, the painting is protected with 100% acrylic polymer varnish. Varnishing adds a satin sheen while increasing the brightness and color saturation and offering protection from UV light damage. The artwork is then beautifully mounted in a solid maple wood floater frame and is ready to hang. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by artist.

All photos capture the color and detail as accurately as possible, but note that there may be some slight color shifts between photo and actual painting. Painting is signed on the surface and on the back in graphite and varnished.

Recipes for disaster!

The book is clearly written by someone with great technical abilities, and poor communication/teaching skills. It also lacks clarity, and repeats some concepts under different sections without explaining why or what you're gonna do with that information, as if some explanations were incomplete... all in a way that it is utterly confusing. Codes have lots of errors, so get ready to debug the heck out of them. I needed this for a project which aimed to make some processes more efficient, and now I'm stuck fixing a problem I did not need, increasing my workload. One of the worst cyber security books I've ever owned.
