Crafted in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, this updated version now offers a variety of vibrant colors, including a Frost Blue finish.
A jumbo-sized solid mahogany body distinguishes this acoustic-electric guitar, elevated further by its thermally aged solid spruce top and scalloped X bracing, allowing excellent projection. Its one-piece mahogany neck boasts a comfortable C-profile, paired with a laurel fingerboard topped with twenty frets and iconic Mother-of-Pearl Star inlays, with a total scale length of 25.5 inches.
Equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system, the J-180 LS delivers a high-fidelity plugged-in experience, staying true to its legacy of gracing stages worldwide. Convenient soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls offer easy access to shaping the amplified tone while maintaining a sleek appearance.
Hardware features include a reverse-belly bridge crafted from laurel to complement the fingerboard, along with Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines featuring Keystone Buttons. This instrument comes bundled with a hardshell case adorned with the "Inspired by Gibson" logo.
