Smart Pendulum - Self-leveling Mode & Manual Mode:

When the laser tool is switched to the unlocked position, the self-leveling mode is enabled.

The laser beam blink fast and laser tool will beep as well when the tool is out of self-leveling range (3.5° ± 1°).

When the pendulum locked, the laser tool can be placed for alignment at any angle.

The laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it's not self-leveling now.

In manual mode, when all laser lines are switched off, the laser tool will shut OFF automatically after about 5 minutes of inactivity.
