Ankh means life in ancient Egyptian language. The hieroglyph of life was a cross, where the uppermost part was a loop.
As a symbol of life and all things included in life, the different styled ankh pendants were manufactured already during the days of the pharaohs. The symbol has survived through the ages and is still considered a powerful charm to ward off evil and death.
This ankh skewer is worked entirely by hand and made of stainless steel. It is a unique offer since it is made of stainless steel. Hand forged in stainless steel -- an elegant but rugged cutlery set, intended for use, while maintaining a pleasing aesthetic presence as well. These items are unique in form but universal in application, and will weather several generations of use. It will never rust! It is done from 100% stainless steel.
