Madrona Block Md57 1.7" x 1.7" x 8" 0.6 lbs. This is a beautiful spindle of Pacific Madrone wood. It has light peach color with darker peach undertones. Madrona tends to have a lot of color variation throughout, and we think you will be very pleased with these spindles. This is a fully air-dried blank, measuring 10-12% moisture content. This size of spindle is useful for a range of turning, carving, or other woodworking projects. Popular projects from this size spindle: game calls, bottle stoppers, shot glasses, tool handles, knife scales, toothpick holders, drawer pulls, honey dippers, magic wands. About the Tree This Madrona tree lived a long and healthy life on San Juan Island, Washington. It died naturally and was harvested in the course of good forest management. It was standing a while before being harvested, so there is a bit of spalting throughout that adds to its beauty. Not all pieces have spalting, but quite a few have black-line spalting and added color from mineralization streaks. |

Difficult to destroy. Bounce really high.

Bought as a gift for a friend's small dog who dismantles tennis balls. He loves them. I have many years of experience with the product (in a larger size) for my big dog. He always had one either in his mouth or near him. They are pretty much indestructible.

High quality, wish it was just a little smaller

Love these. My dogs would play ball all day if I let them. These are very durable and bouncy. Love that it’s washable. They would chew up the small “tennis” balls to pieces so I love that they can’t destroy these. My only criticism is I wish these were just a little smaller (like the size of the small Kong tennis balls). My dogs can carry it in their tiny mouths but they can’t get their mouth around it enough to chew it to get the squeaker to squeak, which is their favorite thing.
