In essence, it refers to the Buddha's ability to maintain right mindfulness and wisdom when facing beings with three different attitudes, embodying a state of inner calm and focus. By extension, we often encounter people who understand or misunderstand us. We must stay true to our core, not lose ourselves in praise, nor blindly change ourselves in the face of doubt.
