When the body is overworked, stressed or low in nutrients, your immune system will not be working at its best. Our Advanced Immunity formula is made with 20 of the highest quality natural ingredients including Vitamin C and Vitamin D and potent herbal antivirals and antibacterials to give your body an edge against illness.

Why Is Vitamin C So Important?

Vitamin C is arguably the most important vitamin for immunity. Vitamin C is water-soluble so our bodies can't store it meaning that we need a daily dose to receive its full benefits.

As we age it becomes more important than ever that we protect ourselves from virus and pathogen infections. Most complications from serious flu are due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). This is caused by the immune system producing a cytokine storm, where our immune system overreacts, producing a massive state of inflammation which causes difficulty breathing and is the basis of pneumonia.

Fortunately, our body can fight this inflammation but it needs Vitamin C to do this. (source: Surviving ARDS: IHCAN magazine May 2020 issue)

Why Is Vitamin D So Important?

50% of the population is vitamin D-deficient. Our bodies manufacture Vitamin D when sunshine hits our bodies but cloudy climates, suntans and working indoors mean that we're just not getting enough sun.

This vitamin is essential for a healthy immune response. T cells, a group of immune cells, are critical for immune defence. They attack foreign bacteria and viruses but can't if the body doesn't have enough vitamin D. Studies have also shown it can reduce the risk of respiratory tract infections

PLUS 18 additional ingredients

We've combined the most potent antiviral and antibacterial herbs, berries, fruits, leaves, roots, mushrooms, bulbs, vitamins and minerals that have proven ability to boost your immune system.

Including: Vitamin C, Baobab Fruit, Acerola Cherry Extract, Zinc, Vitamin E, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Astragalus Root, Reishi Mushroom, Grapefruit Seed, Olive Leaf, Black Pepper, Black Elderberry, Cayenne Powder, Selenium, Vitamin B6, Rosehip, Turmeric, Vitamin D, Black Aged Garlic & Ginger Root.

Ingredients

Vitamin C: is used to make protein that makes skin, joints and bones strong. Vitamin C speeds up wound healing and helps to form red blood cells. Your body's immune system relies on vitamin C to keep the disease-fighting white blood cells active. Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron and folic acid effectively and turn food into energy.

Vitamin D: contributes to the function of the immune system and healthy inflammatory response, absorption of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of bones, muscle function and teeth. Numerous studies indicate the link between healthy vitamin D levels and a strong immune system. A group of immune cells, the T-cells, are critical for immune defence and are dependent on adequate levels of vitamin D in the blood.

Acerola cherry: known as superfruits, due to their excellent nutritional value and exceptionally high vitamin C content. Acerola cherries provide a naturally bio-available and powerful source of vitamin C, which is fully utilised by the body. 1 small acerola cherry contains around 80mg of vitamin C - this is 30 times the amount found in oranges (of the same weight).

Baobab fruit: This versatile fruit has long been used for its health applications in Africa. Famed for its incredible nutritional properties it is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals including magnesium, potassium, calcium, antioxidants, vitamin C and fibre. Studies show that baobab can help to reduce inflammation and prevent oxidative damage to cells.

Astragalus root: Studies have shown that regular use of Astragalus root leads to an increase in disease-fighting immune antibodies and stimulation of T-cells (which are powerful immune-regulating white blood cells) and an increase in levels of the anti-viral compound interferon.

Black pepper (piperine): a very good anti-inflammatory agent. Black pepper has been included in this formula, specifically because it increases the absorption and utilisation of the other beneficial ingredients.

Black aged garlic: produced from fresh garlic via fermentation with the whole bulbs of peeled cloves Black garlic possesses an abundant amount of antioxidant compounds such as polyphenols and flavonoids. Fermentation not only alters the nutrition components and sensory attributes but also enhances the bioactivity of black garlic. Garlic is a broad-spectrum anti-viral and antibiotic, capable of fighting infection and killing a wide variety of fungi (more than 60), bacteria (more than 20), viruses, protozoa, parasites and amoebas due to its active constituents, allicin and ajoene.

Olive leaf: An excellent anti-microbial against many species of virus and bacteria. For around 4,000 years, countries of the Mediterranean have chopped up olive leaves in liquid or salad form to prevent and treat parasitic infections. Olive leaf is also effective against fungi, moulds and harmful bacteria and can be used for yeast infections.

Rosehip: a great source of vitamin C and bioflavonoids. There is as much vitamin C in a cup of rosehip pulp as in 40 oranges! Vitamins A, B1-3 and K are also present. The bioflavonoids, present in the pulp and the rind enhances its absorption rate. Studies show that rosehips may also reduce the symptoms of osteoarthritis and help sore, achy joints to function better.

Turmeric: The yellow pigment in turmeric, called curcumin, is a powerful antioxidant shown to reduce free radical damage in the body. Curcumin has long been used in ayurvedic medicine and is perhaps most commonly associated with its anti-inflammatory actions. Inflammation is the body’s natural response to injury or infection. Acute inflammation is typically a protective and localised response to infection or injury. Curcumin is a polyphenol which increases the antioxidant capacity in the blood and enhances T cell immunity.

Cayenne: an ideal addition to any treatment plan to kill bugs and parasites. The volatile oil, capsaicin, within cayenne gives the herb its “hotness” weakens parasites because they do not like a warm environment. Cayenne is known for healing, cleansing, indigestion, urinary tract health, colds, flu, digestive disorders and strengthening internal organs, particularly the heart muscle.

Reishi mushroom: a fungus that grows in various hot and humid locations in Asia. Within the mushroom, there are several molecules that help to boost immunity. Studies have shown that it can affect the genes in white blood cells, which are critical parts of the immune system.

Black elderberry: rich in vitamins A and B, flavonoids and potassium, but they are most notable because they contain more vitamin C than other traditional fruits. Research indicates they promote disease resistance and have been used since the Stone Age to treat colds and viral infections. Anthocyanins found in elderberries have more antioxidant capacity than either vitamin E or vitamin C. These potent antioxidants enhance immune function by boosting the production of cytokines - proteins that act as “messengers” in the immune system to help regulate the immune response.

Grapefruit seed: a highly effective, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal. In fact, it has been proven to be effective against over 800 strains of viruses and bacteria, 100 strains of fungi, plus several single-celled parasites - no other anti-microbial can make such claims.

Ginger root: A warming herb, which helps to ensure that toxins are kept circulating until properly eliminated. It is also calming to the stomach and can help combat feelings of nausea, which may be produced during the detox process.

Lactobacillus acidophilus: A type of friendly bacteria, it helps to combat invading pathogens and other harmful micro-organisms. Probios are essential for a strong and effective immune system as they are involved in countless processes such as the production of B Vitamins, regulates cholesterol levels and supports the absorption of foods and nutrients.

Vitamin E: A fat-soluble vitamin it helps to protect against disease by acting as a cellular antioxidant. It prevents the oxidation of fat compounds, vitamin A, selenium, two sulphur amino acids and some vitamin C. It also helps the supply of oxygen to the body which enhances endurance. Protects lungs against air pollution by working with vitamin A and accelerates the healing of wounds.

Zinc: is vital for growth and wound healing, zinc is also a powerful antioxidant and immune system booster, helping to protect you from infection. It is also thought to be important for brain function, a healthy nervous system and mental alertness. As an antioxidant and immune system booster, zinc can help to reduce pain and inflammation.

Vitamin B6: contributes to the function of the immune system, the regulation of hormonal activity, energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Selenium: This mineral is found in the soil, water and in some foods and can play a big part in our skin’s health. While it’s best known as an antioxidant, this essential mineral is a component of more than two dozen proteins that influence everything from skin health to reproduction, the making of DNA, thyroid function and immune response. Selenium neutralises free radicals and works with the vitamin E to safeguard cell membranes, the protective coating around cells.

“This Jacket Changed My Life, My Posture, and Possibly My Destiny.”
Special Size Type: Standard, Size: X-Large, Color: Colusa/Stretch
“This Jacket Changed My Life, My Posture, and Possibly My Destiny.” I bought this Levi’s Men’s Trucker Jacket on Black Friday for 50% off, and honestly, I think the universe has been waiting for this moment. The second I slipped it on, I felt the air shift — like somewhere, a tumbleweed rolled across a Walmart parking lot in respect. This jacket didn’t just fit. It claimed me. Suddenly, I walked differently. Not better — just with more narrative significance. Like I was the mysterious side character in a Netflix show who only appears to give life-changing advice next to a jukebox. People look at me now like I’ve been to places. Seen things. Done questionable but noble acts on the open road. What This Jacket Made Me Believe About Myself: That I could fix a motorcycle using only pliers and emotional willpower That I should own sunglasses even indoors That I absolutely should lean against things while staring into the distance That I have opinions about blues music That someone, somewhere, owes me money My confidence skyrocketed. My responsibilities? Stayed exactly the same — but I now ignore them with swagger. The Black Friday Factor Getting it 50% off activated a new primal ego inside me. Every time someone compliments it, I immediately shout: “THANKS — GOT IT HALF OFF!” Even when they weren’t complimenting it. Even when they weren’t talking to me. Even when I was alone. Durability This thing could survive: A bar fight A mild tornado Being run over by a shopping cart stampede The emotional collapse of a man who just realized he peaked in high school It’s rugged. It’s iconic. It smells faintly of “I could do better, but I won’t.” Side Effects (documented): Strangers nod at me Kids think I know how to play guitar I feel obligated to say things like “Let’s ride” even when entering a minivan My reflection winked at me once Final Verdict This isn’t just a jacket. It’s a lifestyle upgrade. A fabric-based personality transplant. A denim prophecy fulfilled. Five stars. If Levi’s ever discontinues this jacket, I will chain myself to their headquarters and demand justice.

Vintage 60's cool, but sizing is a difficult decision
I can't believe I haven't owned one of these for the last 40 years or so. To put one on after all these years takes one right back to the questionable days of one's youth when you wore these bare chested underneath while tooling around on your Kawasaki 500 triple. Well it will take you back if you haven't let yourself go too far! I received both a large and a medium in black (love the free returns on clothing, I always order two sizes so I get the right fit). They are both made in Mexico and look very neat and well made, the denim is on the thin side but OK for warm weather. Nowhere is there any tag saying shrink to fit or shrinks two sizes. The tag says machine wash cold, tumble dry medium. The large is quite large on me (I'm 5'9" 168 lbs trim and athletic build, more often than not I wear large in T shirts and jackets), the sleeves are way too long and loose, body too long and loose. Would have to shrink drastically to fit me, I really doubt it would shrink anywhere near that much. This type jacket is just all wrong if it's too loose fitting, witness the BLACK color one in the model photos, just not too cool. The medium fits much much smaller but IMHO perfect for this style jacket, a classic fit like Steve McQueen or Robert Plant would have sported, high waist and tight shoulders with sleeves rolled back a little. If you look at the model in the 'HARRINGTON' color you have the idea. It will be totally bitchen on today's big black BMW oilhead. This is the youthful fit I was looking for but any shrinkage would be too much. I am conflicted because I would like to wash this jacket and break it in, put a little wear and tear on it. But I wouldn't dare dry it with heat. I might try washing it in cold water and then line dry or I may just dry clean it. I am tempted to go out and drag it up and down the gravel driveway and run it over with my truck a few times till it acquires some of the same attitude it inspires in me. All I need now is a Psychedelic soundtrack and I'm all set to relive the glory days, better than the first time around. A little research on the Levi's website reveals they have a regular fit and a slim fit in addition to this relaxed fit which is the only one available on Amazon. I find that this relaxed version works well in the medium size anyway, it seems to be relaxed only in the body, not so much in shoulders or sleeves.

Large fits well, comfortable, though a bit more flex to it than expected
Special Size Type: Standard, Size: Large, Color: Colusa/Stretch
Very nice, though it is stretchier than expected. I purchased a large. The fit is good for me at 5'11" / 200lb, average build. My shoulders are a bit broader than most and the fit is maybe just a weeeeee bit tight, under the arm when reaching for something. The arm length and overall length are both great. This will be a mid-season jacket so I do not plan to wear a hoody or other bulky item under it. It would work, but I think a bit too snug for me. I reccomend washing it immeidately then taking a hot iron with steam to the pockets and collar which I feared were trying to start and curl up. They need to be trained early! I am more pleased than expected.

TRIED OTHER DENIM JACKETS LEVI THE ONLY WAY
This jacket is exactly what I was hoping for timeless, clean, and super versatile. The black denim looks sharp and goes with everything, from jeans to chinos. The fit is true to size and hits that perfect spot between fitted and comfortable. I can move around easily without it feeling stiff, and it breaks in nicely after a few wears. The quality really stands out — solid stitching, durable buttons, and that signature Levi’s structure that just looks good no matter how you style it. It’s warm enough for cool days but still light enough to wear indoors or layer over a hoodie. Im 180lbs 6’2 for reference, If you’re after that classic denim jacket look that never goes out of style, this one’s it. I get compliments every time I wear it. Also I’ve owned it a year now and it still looks great.
