"CRUSADERS" from a painting by Sir John Gilbert - a striking Victorian double-page illustration print from wood engraving published September 2, 1876 in Supplement for Harper's Weekly, A Journal of Civilization magazine, in New York City, USA.

The Crusades were a series of predominantly religious wars fought in Medieval period, initiated and supported by Latin Church. After a Byzantine request for military aid in 1095 there were dozens of Crusading military campaigns. The Crusades to Holy Land between 1095 and 1291 had the objective of reconquering Jerusalem and surrounding areas from Muslim rule. The First Crusade resulted in conquest of Jerusalem in 1099.

Harper's Weekly, A Journal of Civilization was an American political magazine based in New York City. It was published by Harper & Brothers from 1857 until 1916 and featured foreign and domestic news, fiction, essays on many subjects, humour, and many illustrations.

Sir John Gilbert (1817 - 1897) was an English engraver, painter and illustrator. Gilbert has taught himself to paint and later became best known for his wood engravings. He produced thousands of illustrations for magazines such as Illustrated London News, Punch and The London Journal. Gilbert became president of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1871, was knighted in 1872 and became a member of Royal Academy of Arts in 1876.

Listed as good, came like new
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
I tried to cancel my order when I saw the negative reviews of water damage (only a couple, but the book was a more expensive textbook so I didnt want to risk it) but it was too late. Luckily the book came looking practically brand new. It was listed as "good".

Wow!
Format: Hardcover
This text is so fascinating. I was hesitant to make this purchase based on the price alone, but it is so worth it if you want to understand Existential Psychotherapy. Yalom, as many will already know, is a titan in the field of existential psychotherapy. This is a text that is from one of the fields most well-respected experts. Its also filled with a lot of content which makes the price tag certainly worth it. You'll likely walk away feeling like you got your money's worth and much more. Highly recommend

A Beautiful Articulation of our Savior's Natures.
Format: Paperback
A fantastic work for both devotional reading and study. The translation flows smoothly, and the content (as to be expected with Cyril) is edifying and challenging. I would recommend this to any Christian interested in the conversation leading up to Ephesus and Chalcedon, and/or the hypostatic union.
