Frames of Reference offers the first opportunity to view all of Lucinda Devlin's photographic series in a single volume. The nine thematic series reveal a remarkably consistent approach from the 1970s to the present; from her early work as an exponent of New Color photography to her focus on a wide variety of interiors, before expanding her scope in the 2000s to include exterior environments and landscapes. No people appear in these images, yet their influence is everywhere.
Following the example of Walker Evans, Devlin is guided by specific phenomena of American culture and its developments, which she observes with a critical eye—from the early series "Pleasure Ground," offering glimpses into spaces of entertainment and diversion (discos, strip bars, fantasy hotels), to later images of treatment rooms, operating theaters, autopsy rooms, and execution chambers in American prisons in "The Omega Suites." In more recent works that are more subtle yet no less nuanced, Devlin examines the cultivation and management of landscapes in Indiana, the Midwest, the Carolinas and Arizona, as well as the changes in Utah's salt flats and Great Salt Lake. An enduring source of contemplation is the vast expanses of Lake Huron, to which she dedicated "Lake Pictures" between 2010 and 2019.

Indestructible
Style: Fetch Balls (Pack of 2), Size: 3 inch
These balls are indestructible! We have a lab and a lab mix and they CANNOT damage these balls. They love them for fetch and to just chew on them (slightly squishy, but NO damage). Best toys we have bought for them.

Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard
White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it.
Orange is easy to see in the grass at day
They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too
The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.

Good squeak and bounce
Size: Small Set of 8
My friend's smallish dog can make them squeak and they have a good bounce. The dog loves them. We returned another brand that did not squeak. They're colorful and are durable.

Excellent durability!
Size: Medium Set of 6
I’m impressed with how durable these balls are! The rubber is nice and thick and tough, so my dogs have been unable to rip them apart yet. The spikes help clean their teeth when they chew, which is a plus. After weeks of use, the rubber is not sticky and does not smell. They haven’t lost shape or bounce. The size is perfect for my large shepherd husky dogs, as well as my medium sized Heeler. The loud squeaker in 2 of them has stopped working, which I’m not sad about. As a matter of fact, I’d give 10 stars if all of the squeakers stopped squeaking, lol! The package of 6 balls was a great value!! Will definitely buy again.
