It’s an updated version of the shawl collared cardigans from the 1940s/50s worn by male movie stars or a favorite grandpa.  New and interesting cables, a fit that skims your curves and ends where your jeans start, and a gorgeous variegated yarn add a little twist to the original.  Available in 12 sizes (kits are grouped by number of skeins, but you will be able to choose any size in the grouping).

 Worsted Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Worsted Merino by Plucky Knitter (100% Merino; 100g/215yds): 6 (7, 8) (8, 9, 10) Skein.  This yarn is discontinued.  Please select from the following.

ALTERNATE YARN: Merino Worsted by Malabrigo (100% Merino Wool; 100g/210yds): 6 (7, 8) (8, 9, 10)  Skeins.  This yarn is a great match for the Plucky Knitter Worsted Merino.  It has the same lovely variegation, single ply and is kettle-dyed in small batches so that it will have a wonderful depth, even in darker colors.

ALTERNATE YARN: Rios by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds): 6 (7, 8) (8, 9, 10) Skeins.  Rios is a multi plied yarn with a tight twist that will knit up less densely than Merino Worsted but with all of the softness and delicate hand of merino wool.  This yarn will be less likely to pill in high abrasion areas as well.  Select color Pearl Ten to match the knitted garment.

Alex and her monsters
Format: Kindle
A somewhat intriguing story that did drag a little despite giving us some world building. The explanations just took too long even if we don’t get the full picture yet. I will say the story does have some humor and is very hot. I may pick up the second book at some point.

Interesting Monster Academy
Format: Kindle
Alexandra is tired of being alone, using writing to escape from her reality. But when her monster protectors in her writing come to life, her life is going to become a little more exciting than she ever anticipated. This was a fun take on an academy romance. We have two different realities, one for the real world and one for the supernatural world. I loved the Dark Imaginarium Academy and the intrigue it held throughout the story. The plot was fun and the characters were written beautifully. Alexandra, Elwin, Kylo and Lucien were great characters and have the best out of every relationship dynamic. My heart does belong to Lucien, because who doesn't love a murderous psycho willing to kill anyone who hurts you? I wish there was a little more intrigue to the plot itself. The story was fun to read and well written, but it's still a straightforward Academy romance. I would've liked to see something that made the story really stand out more.

Intriguing
Format: Kindle
Very interesting world set up! I'm liking the characters more and more as we get to know them as well. At first I found it difficult to remember what powers each of the 3 monsters have, but the author does a great job of working it into the story to help the reader remember and eventually tell who is who much easier. Seems like a great start to a series. I can't wait to see where everything is heading.
