Released in 1999, his sophomore album, "A Prince Among Thieves, " has since become an undeniable classic amongst hip-hop enthusiasts and record collectors alike. Featuring an all-star ensemble of Golden Era MC's like Kool Keith, Sadat X, Xzibit, De La Soul, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, Everlast, Chubb Rock, RZA, Special Ed and more, this ambitious piece of humorous hip-hop storytelling is like an odyssey of 90's rap, even earning praise from music essayist Robert Christgau, who called it "The closest thing to a true rock opera you've ever heard." The concept follows the story of an aspiring young emcee named Tariq, played by emcee Breezly Brewin of the Juggaknots who needs to collect money to record a demo tape before a meeting with Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA. The story follows a desperate Tariq, who skips work at his low-paying job and turns to his friend True, played by emcee Big Sha, who introduces him to drug dealing. The two make their way through the drug world, a police ambush, jail, and, finally, a deadly showdown.
