Introducing the Jimi Hendrix drop-in deluxe wiring harness

Replica of the wiring found in the mid '60s - late '70s , including Jimi's famous white Strat 

This configuration is identical to that used in Jimi's own White Strat, although our is the right handed version! We use parts of the highest quality for these harnesses. They are built utilising Eric Johnsons "floating wire" technique to reduce hum and other interference. 

 Contents of the Jimi Hendrix Wiring Harness Kit  

• 1 x USA made CRL 5-way switch
• 3 x CTS Audio Taper pots (250K)
• 1 x Genuine Sprague ceramic disc capacitor (0.1uf)
• Gavitt Vintage cloth covered wire
• 1 x Switchcraft 1/4" Mono output jack socket 

All siver soldered throughout and fitted to a genuine Fender control shield (helps reduce hum, and eliminates the need for the 3 point wiring to the back of the pots). Supplied with easy to follow wiring diagram

Hand built in the UK

The kit is assembled by us here in the UK using high quality silver solder and USA made vintage cloth push-back wire. We even solder the output jack so the whole thing is ready to drop-in. 

As the kit is fitted to an aluminium control shield there’s no need to dis-assemble the parts to fit them to your scratchplate.  Simply add the whole thing to the underside of your scratchplate and it’s done!

3 way switch version

• position 1 - Neck with tone control
• position 2 - Middle with tone control
• position 3 - Bridge with no tone control 

5 way switch version

• Positon 1 - Neck with tone control
• Position 2 - Neck & Middle with tone control
• Position 3 - Middle with tone control
• Position 4 - Middle & Bridge with tone control
• Position 5  - Bridge no tone control 

Anyone got a match?

Jimi would remove the spring from the switch and wedge the selector between postions with a matchstick to get that 2 pickup sound that is now synonomous with all strats. Obviously the incorporation of the 5-way switch made this wedging of the switch unneccessary.
