By replicating the OE spun body design, the single laser fusion weld greatly reduces the possibility of a leak, and our compact, low-mass design also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed to fit the 1983-1991 Volkswagen Vanagon, 1975-1979 Volkswagen Beetle, and additional vehicles. Hardware is included to eliminate the hassle of working with corroded factory parts. Nice sound deadening, self adhesive mats
Style: 18 Sqft 80 mil
These mats should work fine for my application. I’m applying it to the back sides of the hollow core doors on the closet where my HVAC is installed to reduce the “hum” from passing through. If I were sound deadening my automobile, I would probably use a heavier gage material. Overall, good product at a reasonable price.
