Crafted in the iconic dreadnought body shape, the J-45 Studio features layered mahogany back and sides paired with a solid spruce top for rich warmth, balanced resonance, and impressive projection. Its glued-in mahogany neck with a comfortable Rounded “C” profile ensures smooth playability across the traditional 24.75" scale length, while the rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays offers a familiar, player-friendly feel.
A belly-up rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle enhances resonance, sustain, and accurate intonation for dependable performance. Vintage-inspired three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory-style buttons provide stable tuning while complementing the guitar’s classic aesthetic.
For amplified performance and recording, the J-45 Studio is equipped with a Fishman S-Core undersaddle pickup system featuring convenient soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Simply add a 9-volt battery (sold separately), plug in, and enjoy clear, natural acoustic tone on stage or in the studio.
