Buckingham Manufacturing is proud to announce the Buck Ladder Tether™. The patent-pending BLT™ is a ladder-mounted lifeline system that allows 100% fall protection for the user while ascending or descending. In the past, the 128R ladder lock straps were just wrapped around the ladder for storage. We have now introduced a weather-resistant storage bag for your ladder lock straps. This allows the user to stow the straps in a weather-resistant bag on the ladder while not in use. Straps also include a new wear guard to prevent long-term UV degradation if stored outdoors long term.
*The Buck Ladder Tether™ is patent pending.
*In the event of a fall from the ladder, the BuckArrester ™ will arrest the fall while the Ladder Lock System keeps the ladder secured to the pole.
- The BLT™ must be used with the sternal attachment point of an ANSI Z359.11 compliant full-body harness. We recommend the newly created BLT Harness (P/N: U601A3Q1) or the BUCKARTICULATOR™ Y STYLE HARNESS(69B9DQ5).
- Specially designed Ladder Lock System to secure ladder from ground, pole, or any other structure you may be working
- The BLT is especially ideal for substation work. We’ve tested the BLT in numerous scenarios and the BLT was able to provide fall protection in most, if not all, scenarios in the sub.
- The Ladder FP Anchor Strap attaches to the top of the ladder securing the lifeline to the ladder.
- Lifeline includes ANSI Z359.15 rated BuckArrester™ system allowing for 100% fall protection on ascent and descent.
- The BuckArrester™ design provides the user with smooth hands-free up and down tracking, allowing the user to maintain the required 3-point contact at all times.
- Helpful Hint: To help promote the ease of tracking of the BuckArrester™ when coming down a ladder, simply place your thumb behind the rope and above the BuckArrester™ and slightly push outward toward your chest.
- The ladder lock strap bag easily stays out of the way when the ladder is in use.
- The BLT is only intended for use with Type IA (300 lbs. rated) and IAA (375 lbs. rated) fiberglass extension ladder with a V-rung / V-bar installed to create a ladder mounted lifeline system. Approved Ladder Manufacturers include Bauer, Little Giant, Louisville, Werner, and Green Bull.
- BLT must be used with the sternal attachment point of an ANSI Z359.11 compliant full-body harness. We recommend Buckingham’s U601A3Q1.

Misleading description
Style: Magnetic Mount
Misleading. It does affect the vent. You cannot turn the vent at all and it cannot be closed 100%. About 95% closed. Seems very well built and sturdy however, I wish I knew that you cannot turn the vent… Not sure how I feel about that, I may return it.

Happy after aggravating install!
Style: Magnetic Mount, Style: Magnetic Mount
Works now that I finally got it to hold. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars. The air vent ‘lip’ on my 2018 Tacoma is so short so not much for this to clamp on to. This was hard to install. Instructions didn’t have anything about putting the parts together and extra cushion pieces. I watched the video and it was like mine once I got it to hold. I tried with one layer then added a layer then removed added layer and then finally got it to hold! Maybe 10 tries! Now that it’s holding it’s perfect! I left it unscrewed just a little tiny bit so can move the phone view around a little. Happy now!
Build quality:
It seems to be pretty strong and will last my truck’s lifetime.
Phone mount:
Like that it is strong magnet holder and not bulky
Ease of installation:
Not easy. Kept not staying attached then finally just got it. I don’t know magic trick but was just about to give up then it caught the small lip and held tight. Ever other attempt kept popping off as I tightened it down.
Value for money:
I think at $39.99 was a little high but hopefully last one I ever buy.

Solid iPhone Holder
Style: Magnetic Mount
I’ve been searching for a phone holder that doesn’t take up one of the drink holders and actually works well. I had been eyeing a vent mounted holder but was hesitant until I found this one. It had good reviews and was designed to work with my Tacoma. I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to assemble, fit perfectly, secured nicely, and held my phone in place even in bumpy conditions. The vent location puts it in a good alignment with my vision which is especially helpful when I’m using my navigation app. If you’ve been looking for a decent, reasonably priced, well-built iPhone holder, this is an excellent choice!

Safe phone travels
Color: for 2025-2026 Kia Carnival
