Using state-of-the-art 3D scanning systems in the design process, the MagnaFlow metrology department ensures this new part to fit and function like the original equipment. Designed to fit the 1996-1998 Ford Explorer and 1997-1998 Mercury Mountaineer, this direct-fit catalytic converter also interchanges with OE parts F67Z-5E213-BB and F67Z-5E212-AA. Avoid potential exhaust leaks by using the included gaskets to get a proper seal. Nice sound deadening, self adhesive mats
Style: 18 Sqft 80 mil
These mats should work fine for my application. I’m applying it to the back sides of the hollow core doors on the closet where my HVAC is installed to reduce the “hum” from passing through. If I were sound deadening my automobile, I would probably use a heavier gage material. Overall, good product at a reasonable price.
