The skid plate was molded to the bottom frame channels of the 2009 2022 bikes and has a billet mounting bracket at the front that holds it in place. The back of the plate is curved to fit over the bottom rear rail of the frame and then it simply snaps up into place. It

The skid plate was molded to the bottom frame channels of the 2009-2022 bikes and has a billet mounting bracket at the front that holds it in place. The back of the plate is curved to fit over the bottom rear rail of the frame and then it simply snaps up into place. It basically becomes one with the frame and is very strong and rigid to withstand the abuse of top level competition. Having a Glide Plate on the bottom of your frame eliminates catching dirt when in ruts and scrubbing jumps so momentum is not lost. All Nihilo skid plates are hand made in our Florida facility to exacting standards and personally fabricated and inspected by our in house Composite specialist to assure perfect fit and finish every time.
