The "remastered" Martin X Series features revamped Martin acoustics that give players a chance to experience the iconic Martin sound, while showcasing the inclusion of sustainable materials in their construction. The acoustic-electric Martin D-X1E Koa features the use of high-pressure laminate (HPL) in its construction, and combines durability with the classic Martin tone through Martin's spec and material choices.

The Martin D-X1E features a dreadnought body with a top and sides built entirely from figured koa HPL, a composite material found throughout the X-Series models that is sustainably sourced/produced, and contributes to a guitar that is highly resistant to environmental factors such as seasonal weather changes, temperature and humidity. The D-14 Fret body shape provides a comfortable and familiar canvas for players, and the D-X1E also features scalloped X-bracing, a bracing style used across Martin's acoustic instruments from their top-of-the-line Custom Shop guitars to their student lines, highlighting their belief that any guitar can sound good if the correct components are used.

The Figured Koa HPL top, back, and sides of the D-X1E not only ensure robust durability but also contribute to its unique aesthetic appeal. The stunning wood figuring adds a touch of elegance, making this guitar a true work of art.

Built with a select hardwood neck and a dot-inlaid, select hardwood fingerboard, the D-X1E features a PA neck profile with a high-performance taper. Its 25.4" scale length and mortise & tenon neck joint make an extremely secure, artisan-style connection between neck and body, and the fingerboard measures 1.75'' width at the nut. Equipped with Martin E-1 electronics, the D-X1E offers the opportunity for versatile plugged-in performances. The control features include a volume, tone, and phase control and an onboard chromatic tuner for tuning without the need for any external devices.

The combination of its onboard tuner, resistance to changes in environment and spec choices make this instrument perfect for on-the-go musicians who want to sport a Martin for an attention-grabbing price point.

This guitar comes with a softshell case. Most new Martin Guitars ship with the original endpin not installed, if you'd like us to install one for you before shipping, please let us know and we'd be happy to.

Too hard and heavy.
Color: Fowl Play
Very cute idea but my dog was not at all interested. It’s too hard for her to chew on. She didn’t even care enough about it to rip the outside. It’s hard and heavy. I will stick with the non-super chewer bark toys. They don’t last as long, but she loves them.

Tough & fun!
Color: Betty Bigfoot
This is my puppy’s favorite toy. I’ve bought 4 in case he eventually finds a way to destroy the ball because he is a 1 year old super-chewer. That said, this ball is TOUGH! It’s taken severe abuse from our dog & we couldn’t be more satisfied.

Not as tough as they make it seem
Color: Buck Wild, Color: Buck Wild
My dog chewed it up and destroyed it in less than 4 hours. I have a GSP 8 month old. She’s definitely a super chewer but this didn’t last at all. The tail crumbled apart and she ate some of it.

This is a HEAVY Toy
Color: Buck Wild
This toy is HEAVY. Really good quality, but my dog hasn’t shown much interest. If you can find a way to get your dog to play with it, I’m sure it would last for awhile.

Barkbox Betty
Color: Betty Bigfoot
A lot smaller than pictured. Still like it. Durable. Dog likes to carry toy around. Dog is 70 lbs and a heavy chewer and toy has lasted.
