CARDIO FIRST ANGEL

The compact and lightweight CARDIO FIRST ANGEL CPR feedback system is designed to provide emergency support to lay persons and avoids direct contact between first responder and patient. Since it is an intuitively operated mechanical device, the resuscitation assistant functions without a power supply and electronic components. Therefore, it is immediately ready for use anytime and everywhere. Thanks to its sophisticated design, positioning on the patient's chest is particularly easy.

The CPR feedback system consists of three elementary components: the centrepiece of the device is the stable PE plastic base plate, which has a body-compatible polyurethane foam attached to its bottom for even pressure distribution and fluid absorption. The base plate is mounted on a complex arrangement of coil springs that transmit the compressive force to the thorax. This pressure is applied via the signal-red pressure surface, which is provided with internationally comprehensible pictograms. Therefore, the device ensures a high level of user safety.

To reduce uncertainties regarding the compression depth, the CARDIO FIRST ANGEL works with clearly audible signal noises. At a force of 410+/-30 N, which corresponds to a necessary compression depth at the rib cage of 50-60 mm, a distinct "clicking sound" is noticeable. When the pressure is completely relieved, however, a "clacking" sound can be heard. The continuous alternation of "pressure-click" and "pressure-release-clack" serves as the user's guide to the correct rhythm - a well thought-out clock that makes it easier for the first aider to achieve the required pressure frequency of about 100-120 compressions per minute.

The CARDIO FIRST ANGEL feedback system is approved as a class I medical device and is CE-certified. Please note that this is a disposable item that must not be reused after emergency use.
