Meet the very first small-format IOD Paint Inlay — and it is adorable. 🐦 Little Lark features artwork drawn from the 19th-century book The Bird by Jules Michelet, with the most charming birds, nests, florals, and pastoral vignettes in a classic toile-inspired layout. The details are incredible — you really have to see it up close to appreciate everything going on in this one.

Rendered in a three-color palette of sepia black, indigo, and soft green — like vintage china come to life — it's perfect for creating faux china-style finishes on furniture and décor. The set includes frames, wreaths, and borders for building complete compositions, and the vignette scenes can even be softened with a wet brush for a beautiful watercolor effect. One of the most special things about paint inlays! As a little bonus, the beloved cover artwork from The Bird also appears in the Athenæum foil transfer — so beautiful when used together.

The stickers that label the parts are impossible to remove and if you do get them off theres a lot of residue left behind.
