Each colorway of the BH1 is inspired by a person, place, event or something closely related to Black American Descendants of US Chattel Slavery.
Our first colorway of the BH1, the Malcolm colorway, is inspired by the cover art for The Autobiography of Malcolm X as Told to Alex Haley.
